Howard + Ashley
Howard and Ashley have been attending Cornerstone since 2019, and Ashley has been serving on the worhsip team since 2021! They have been a blessing to us, so now we get to be a blessing to them!
Here's a note from Ashley:
"After years of hearing God’s call to ministry, I’ve officially said yes! This fall, I’ll be joining InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as a campus minister at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Campus ministry has always held a special place in my heart, and IV is where Howard & I came to faith and met each other. At a conference in March, God made it clear it was time to fully step into this calling, not as a side gig, but as a priority. And yes, I’m still working on my PhD and hope to finish this year! I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and excited to see how my academic training can serve ministry.
I’m so humbled by how supportive many of you already are, offering prayers, asking how to help, and sharing the news with others. I’m in awe of how God is already steps ahead and providing in ways beyond my imagination."
