Missions

Locally, we express love for our neighbors by supporting many worthwhile organizations and serving in our local community. Kingdom Builders and Cornerstone Garage represent some of our internal initiatives to spread God’s love across Southern Illinois.

Regionally, we support the Illinois State Baptist Association Disaster Relief program to bring Help, Healing, and Hope to Disaster Areas. We encourage our members who are so inclined to participate in training to love their neighbors. And at times, this assistance is also local, as our local Williamson County team is active in assisting the citizens of Southern Illinois with non-disaster assistance.

Globally, we want to help equip the saints to follow the Great Commission. Cornerstone has a long history of taking our local knowledge of farming to assist the people of Haiti, and we look forward to rejoining that mission when it is safe to do so. At the same time, we support our people to find opportunities to serve across the globe.
