- Devotional: Today’s passage reminds us that our hope rests not in our striving, but in Christ’s finished work on our behalf. Jesus, our great High Priest, fully understands our weakness, yet He never sinned. Because He suffered and faced temptations like we do, He doesn’t meet us with cold condemnation, but with lavish mercy. Lent invites us to come honestly before God , laying aside our self-reliance and drawing near to the throne of grace. Today, we can rest in Jesus’s perfect obedience, which secured eternal salvation for all those who trust in Him. In Christ, we find a merciful Savior who intercedes for us. He doesn’t hold us at a distance. He welcomes us and draws us close in our time of need!
- Discussion Questions:
- What stood out to you in today’s passage?
- What questions do you still have?
- What is God asking you to do in response?
End your time with prayer, and ask the Lord to help you apply what you have learned today.
