- Scripture: 2 Chronicles 33:1-20

- Devotional: Manasseh’s story in 2 Chronicles 33 reminds us that no amount of sin places us beyond the reach of God’s mercy. After years of rebellion, idolatry, outright defiance, and even child sacrifice, Manasseh is brought low—and it’s there that he finally humbles himself and seeks the Lord. His confession isn’t polished or impressive—it’s done in the midst of bitter exile. Nevertheless, it’s real, and God responds with forgiveness and restoration. During Lent, this passage invites us to stop excusing our sin and instead come honestly before God, trusting that Christ has already secured mercy for repentant sinners. Confession doesn’t minimize our sin, but it magnifies the grace of a God who delights to forgive!

- What questions do you still have?
- What is God asking you to do in response?
